Loved, Accepted and Wanted.

To love and be loved is all we ever seek.
Whether it be romance, friendship or acceptance, this emotion is what keeps us going.

Think about it- if one's parents didn't show enough love and affection, it has the power to affect your future.

Even murderers have had someone they hold dear to them, someone they loved in some form.

It is a feeling that many claim to experience, but realize later that it wasn't really love they felt.

Acceptance is a really important feeling that people seek as well. I believe it goes hand in hand with love because we want to feel accepted, loved and wanted too.

Feeling accepted isn't only about feeling accepted just because you have the latest fashion trends at all.

It's about Knowing that the people you care about, and the people you surround yourself look at you for who you are. This is so important I think because why should we have to feel any less of ourselves? Why surround yourself with people that do not accept you for the person you are.

Lastly, being wanted.
Feeling wanted.
Knowing that someone is counting on you.

Yes. This is a lot of pressure.
But what does the satisfaction feel like of the person that needs you in some way?
We all want  to feel wanted. It makes us happy.

We want people to need us...
Because we need them too.

Even if you hate everybody.

There's no greater feeling than feeling
loved,
accepted
and
wanted.

Questioning Being (1)

Uncertainty and vulnerability.

There are many things in life that we are unsure of.
Many things that we must get through- some how, some way.

But we don't always think of what is right in front of our eyes.
The wisdom, support, love and care of the people around us who understand us the most.

Why is it that so many people always hesitate to ask others for help?
Why is it so hard to put aside one's pride for just a moment and realize that the helping hand is there?
Why do people feel they need to get through things alone?
Why don't we seek pleasure and happiness through other people, with them, instead of just for ourselves?
Why is it that we don't always see someone else's worth until it's too late.

I have made mistakes in my life that I have learned from, and gained from.
I firmly believe that "everything happens for a reason", although many things and personal experiences question that very statement every day...

Right now I don't see how things are happening for a "reason".
Maybe sometimes the fact that things happening for a reason aren't a reason that is necessarily pertaining to you. Maybe its so that someone else can gain from it... and you in turn gain as well from the experience...

When can we be ourselves and open our eyes to a being with respect and honor to one another.

Do we know a life without insecurities?
